Photos for Winner of Christmas Prize Draw

February 24, 2010

Alex and Isaac won the Chorlton Family Photography prize draw – it was drawn on Christmas Eve, 24th December 2009.  This turned out to be not only a great Christmas present, but also a fabulous gift for Alex whose birthday is on Christmas Day.  The photo shoot took place in January on a day where I got myself locked out of my house and Alex and Isaac’s front door got jammed and wouldn’t open.  It was amazing that we did finally get some lovely photos of their one year old little boy.  He had just learned to walk and kept trying to investigate his toys in the other room.  However we did eventually get some lovely shots, especially when he was playing peek a boo with mum and dad, and when he was eating his favourite messy food – yoghurt.

Here is the montage photograph made up of nine of Alex and Isaac’s favourite  images from the photo shoot.

A Star is Born – Dance Show Photos

February 10, 2010

I was very busy last Sunday taking photographs at the dress rehearsal for a dance show production by the children of Offerton School in Stockport.  The girls (and a couple of boys) enjoyed doing their ‘Girls Allowed’ poses and from the photos it looks like they were all having a great time.  There are more than 130 students aged between 11 and 16 years old taking part in the show and it is on for three nights this week.

Photos of Baby Girl and her Big Brother

February 10, 2010

This was the second photo shoot for Helen’s baby girl.  She has a Baby’s First Year Voucher which entitles her to three photo shoots, each with a free photo.  At the first photo shoot Helen’s baby girl was tiny and couldn’t even sit up, but this time she was definitely on the move.  The baby was joined by her big brother for the photos.  He is three years old and enjoyed playing up for the camera and being very boisterous.  His baby sister just watched, no doubt looking forward to the time when she can run around just like him.
